| Hello, kamusta ka? I’m Deejae, a seventeen-year-old freshman at Chabot Community College. The major? Nursing. The classes? Simple and boring. I’m relatively simple, often found laughing, and almost always having a smile on my face. I love every genre of music, from bubblegum pop to ‘hardcore’ rock. I, however, am picky towards rap these days. Rarely do I find a good rap song that I’ll listen to in its entirety. I have values, I have morals, but I get bored talking about them. Feel free to ask me anything, as I like to believe I’m an open book. Want to contact me? I always check my email [sailorscrapper@hotmail.com], am always on Livejournal, and often check Myspace. Either of those is fine if you ever want to talk. Add me because I like meeting new people. Kevin, Joseph, and Nicholas Jonas have made such a huge impact on my life – yes, I do in fact mean the Jonas Brothers. You can say I’m a diehard fan, and I won’t at all deny it. Feel free to disagree and have your own opinion on them. But don’t you dare come to me claiming I ‘don’t know what real music is’ because I like them. Listen to their music first before you make a judgment like that. Needless to say, I’m a person who doesn’t judge; a person who feels that judgment shouldn’t be made under the wrong circumstances. I’m outspoken, an activist, a mentor to elementary school girls, and a person who stands strong in her beliefs. I’m Christian. Respect is a two-way street; respect me and I’ll return the favor. I’m Filipino. I’m short. I’m single. I’m powerful in my own right. I’m vulnerable and love to hear people’s opinions, though I’m sometimes hesitant to share my own. I’m awkward. Sometimes, I don’t carry myself well. I’m easily hurt, and have been hurt in the past. I’ve experienced life in ways that I don’t feel comfortable talking about, but those experiences – be they good or bad – have made me the strong person I am today. My voice is deep, my laugh is loud, and my humor is sometimes mistaken as stupidity. I love to sing, I love to dance, and I love to have fun. I’m just someone trying to find who she is, even if the path towards that point is a rocky one. | |||||
